ASSISTANT SECRETARY ADDITIONAL
Qualifications:
Basic Computer Knowledge, Working Knowledge of Basic Office Procedures, and the Operation of Common Office Equipment.
REPORTS TO:
Principal and/or Assistant Principal JOB GOAL:
To Assure the Smooth and Efficient Operation of the School Office so that the Office's Maximum Positive Impact on the Education of Children can be Realized PERFORMANCE
Responsibilities:
Performs the usual office routines and practices associated with a productive and smoothly run office.
Maintains such student records as shall be required.
Maintains a regular filing system, and processes incoming correspondence as instructed.
Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data as needed, and puts it into usable form.
Performs any bookkeeping tasks associated with the position.
Orders and maintains supplies as needed.
Assists teachers in preparing instructional materials as requested.
Places and receives telephone calls, and records messages.
Makes arrangements for conferences and arranges for visitor comfort.
Receipts and deposits all incoming monies.
Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the principal may assign from time to time.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
195-day work calendar 7.
5 hours per day 1.
15 pay ratio EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of support personnel.
Due to the uniqueness of each job, some of the above job performances may not apply.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
