Summary:
The sales assistant is responsible for welcoming customers as they enter the store.
Assist customers with flooring selections and follow through with sales and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Work with customers to determine flooring needs Gives additional product features and benefits when needed Accept and process customer's payments Write sales orders, issues samples, provide estimates Work with installations team to schedule jobs Perform other related duties as required and assigned Skills and Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills Sound judgment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Build, maintain, and foster strong relationships Basic skill level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Organized and capable of handling high volume of interactions with all departments Ability to multi-task various processes and projects Must have effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Flooring experience a PLUS Self motivator Customer service oriented Work Environment:
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment Physical Requirements:
Sitting for extended periods of time Walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending Talking, hearing, listening Minimal lifting up to 25lbs.
