Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Supervise a team of warehouse employees, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Train and develop warehouse staff on proper procedures and best practices.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and monitor performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse management or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling.
- Proficient in using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for process improvement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Experience working in a distribution center or logistics environment is preferred.
